  • Built a Python platform with Linux, Docker, Containerlab, and FRRouting to monitor interfaces, BGP sessions, critical routes, latency, packet loss, and service health across a redundant three-router network.
  • Implemented incident detection, persistent monitoring state, root-cause correlation, and UP/DEGRADED/DOWN route classification with automatic BGP failover.
  • Automated convergence tests observed 0.547-second failover and 1.538-second failback, with 0% packet loss across 100 ICMP packets during testing.
  • Exposed telemetry through FastAPI and SQLite, with a live JavaScript topology dashboard and Bash startup/failover tools.
